It is very disheartening to see them survive in such harsh living conditions. Volunteers help us in locating such needy people. Many generous donors regularly come forward to donate blankets, clothes, footwear, and food.

We have encountered many individuals surviving in such poverty-stricken conditions that the more we reach out, the more we discover similar cases. Many ragpickers, man-hole cleaners, workers, and other individuals, who are now old and ill, are living in such dire situations. We constantly seek assistance from volunteers and sponsors to help make their lives a bit better.

The Concept: Dress for Dignity

To give an underprivileged person a pair of clothes is as good as dressing them with self-respect. With this objective, we distribute usable clothes and garments to the poorest of the poor—children, women, and men of all ages across India. To extend our reach to more needy individuals, we distribute these garments through a network of various institutions. They, in turn, distribute the garments to individual beneficiaries.

"Dress for Dignity" implies a focus on empowering recipients, while "Share Your Wardrobe" emphasizes the communal aspect of this initiative.
